Prepare Your Heart For Easter
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” 1 Peter 1:3
Let us think about Easter and what it means to you and me. Tradition of many, many years has set Easter in the hearts and minds of Christian believers as a time of renewal, of new beginnings. Thus, Easter originates and resonates in the lives of all believers as that time of new, fresh beginnings in their lives. That comes from the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ on the first day – Sunday. For you and me, as believers and followers of Jesus, Easter Sunday is a day of celebration of new life for us and seen in the resurrected deity, our Lord, Jesus the Christ.
