READ THE BIBLE AND BECOME WISE

The writings of the Holy Spirit and God’s hand picked people to convey the truth to future generations.

Leaders, prophets, apostles, and other eyewitnesses of the life of Jesus, the Messiah.

Jesus, sent by his Father to fulfill all that was written about him from beginning to end:

To show the world the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE.

He taught that there is only ONE God, and no other gods, only false gods and idols created by the imagination of men as they were guided by their father, Satan himself.

The rebellion began with a rogue angel, given free will by God just like mankind was given free will. Satan deceived not only himself but one third of the angels as well. Their eternal destiny is the lake of fire, which the Bible documents for all of us to learn from.

And beginning with Adam and Eve in the garden, Satan’s work of deception continues to this day, attempting to thwart God’s will in every way possible. But he won’t succeed in the end.

We live in a binary world:

Male / Female
Good / Evil
Right / Wrong
Truth / Falsehood
Obedience / Disobedience
God / Money
Eternal / Temporary
The Narrow Road / The Broad Road
Heaven / The lake of fire

Either God is your Father or Satan is your father. It is obvious which is God’s side and which side belongs to Satan.

Be sure to make the right choices in this life:

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.” ‭‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭18‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Those who walk on the narrow road walk with God with the help of his Spirit, forsaking the temporary distractions of this world for an eternity with God in his presence.

Those who walk on the broad road satisfy the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, living only for today because, without faith, the future is unknown. They have no respect for life or love for others.

If you’re not reading the Bible, you don’t understand the war between the flesh and the Spirit.

In the end, to the DISMAY of all the broad-road walkers, ISRAEL will be the only country standing, because it is God’s WILL to make his CHOSEN people stand. He will indeed SAVE them from their enemies. His PROMISES to his people will not fail.

For those who hate God and his people, the lake of fire awaits:

“You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” ‭‭John‬ ‭8‬:‭44‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“You shall not murder.” ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭20‬:‭13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.” ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭20‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

There’s still time to have a change of heart. Choose Jesus and everyone who’s important to him, before the time of choosing runs out.

Greg’s journey into serious Bible reading and study began when his wife Jane, told him about a local men’s Bible Study Fellowship group. Once he started, he discovered daily time in God’s word was absolutely necessary to living a practical Christian life. He committed this daily discipline drawing him into a closer fellowship with the Lord. Through the Holy Spirit, and much prayer, Greg began presenting the gospel on LinkedIn supported by God’s word. His mission is to encourage Christians to read the Bible and learn for themselves the truth of God’s word. His heart’s desire is to prompt Christians to prayerfully perform a self-evaluation to be certain that they have the Holy Spirit living within them and that they are indeed in the faith, certain of spending eternity with the Father, Son and Spirit.
