Beloved, never stop praying for those who are not in Christ
Never lose hope. Whether they are indifferent to Jesus or are actively opposed to Him, God can still reach them. There is no living person that God does not love. Even those who commit atrocities should be prayed for, because the best thing to happen would be a total change of heart through the power of the Holy Spirit. Your lost loved one is not outside of God’s power to reach. Saul met Jesus and became Paul, writing much of the New Testament. In fact, he later penned these words, “Follow me as I follow Christ.” Don’t let the reality of person’s spiritual state in this moment color your hope for their future. Keep living out your faith, keep showing them love, keep sharing the truth, and keep praying. God loves them and wants to restore them. Keep doing your part in obedience to Him. There is yet hope!
But Saul was ravaging the church, and entering house after house, he dragged off men and women and committed them to prison. Acts 8:3 ESV
