A Day of Silence
A day of silence had passed since the crucifixion. The two Mary’s went to Jesus’ tomb to prepare his body for its final interment. They found the stone rolled away and Jesus’ body was missing.
You can only imagine the heightened emotions that flooded their minds in that moment. It had to be a tsunami of questions, shock, and speculation.
Overcome with grief they went to the ground. Suddenly, two voices spoke in unison, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here. He is risen!” Elation! Could it be that Jesus is alive? Indeed, He is!
Today, we who follow Jesus, celebrate His victory over death, hell, and the grave. His victory is your victory. His resurrection is your resurrection. Come, let us worship Him together for He has risen! – Pastor Jimmy
