Wait a Minute. Don’t Let Your Emotions Control You.

When things happen that cause your emotions to try to control you, wait a minute before reacting and give yourself a chance to to think clearly.

Especially after you have become a Christian, as we have God’s Holy Spirit living in us Who always has the best way to react and behave in every situation. God’s ways are always better than our ways. Save yourself and those around you a lot of trouble and let the Holy Spirit rule over your souls old ways in mind, heart and emotion.

My Grandfather said that following your heart is not the best way because your heart is the center of your emotions and cannot always be trusted.

The Holy Spirit struggles against the ungodly ways our souls mind, will and emotions reacted before we received salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
Romans 12:2

“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
