Thought For Today: “Trust in God’s Love”
“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.” (Psalm 91:14)
When circumstances look bad or depressing, we need to trust that God has our back and that He has our best interest at heart. When trouble came against King David and threatened to swamp his life, he knew where his hope lay, he knew to trust God’s love.
“Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall yet praise Him.” (Psalm 42:11)
When things don’t make sense, let’s start with what we know as true about God. Know that God so loved us that He sent His Son, Jesus to die for us. Let’s trust in that unfailing and unconditional love.
We might not know what’s going on around us, or why, but one thing we can trust is that God’s got a plan and a purpose and He’s working all things out for good for those who love Him in return.

Absolutely true, we should trust in God’s love for it is the foundation of healing and spiritual progress. God’s love is not a distant or conditional force, but an ever-present reality that actively governs and sustains all creation. By trusting in this love, individuals can overcome fear, sickness, and other challenges, finding peace and demonstrating the power of divine Mind, God.

Amen! Trials may come and go and take on many various forms, but God’s love is the one constant in our lives that we can always count on. He will never leave or forsake us, no matter how hopeless or uncertain things may look. When we remember to keep our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, we will not be shaken. “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:2) That is the love of God we can always trust in. We don’t have to always know the outcome, but we can always trust the One who does and His love.
