Sexual Immorality in our Nation

In the light of the current campaign for sexual immorality in our nation, a major division over divine truth has surfaced in the church between those who are fully and faithfully committed to God’s moral standards and those who claim to be Christians, yet refuse to have the Word of God intrude upon their sinful lives.

Romans 1:18, “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.”

In our rebellion, the church has become a people so comfortable with our defiant sinfulness we have abandoned God and brought upon ourselves the judgement of God. When God turns His back on a people, they’re going to get exactly what they want “no restraint.” I believe that is exactly what we are witnessing in America today, from the highest positions of leadership in Washington, all the way down to the pulpit in the church, is the inevitable wrath of God coming from heaven against the ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.

The church has reached the point that even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God. We are without excuse, the church has had the Gospel for all the years of our existence, yet we have progressively continued in the suppression of that truth in order to please man and in doing so, we have displeased God.

When immorality dominates they will continue to plunge further and further into darkness, left to face the consequences of their own sinful choices. That’s why so many denominations are literally imploding, collapsing on themselves.

Just look at our society, nobody wants to talk about it, but we all see it; the horrendous abuse of innocent children being trafficked, millions of pornographic images of every kind, fornication, adultery are running rampant, every sexually immoral behavior one can imagine is being normalized, all to satisfy a culture driven by it’s own insatiable lusts. Sin is the cause and the result is the removal of God’s restraining grace.

Brian Monzón grew up attending church with his grandmother. Through her actions, she impressed upon him the power of the prayers of the righteous, as she herself spent many hours kneeling before God, praying for her family and the needs of others. Besides being a pastor, Brian has been studying and teaching the Word of God for many years. He has devoted his life to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, praying with and for others, especially the unsaved. Brian is also a proud father of four children. He challenges them to be their best and has strived to raise his family up in church and on the Word of God. To discover more about Brian and his ministry please visit Brian Monzón Ministries.
