TGiF – From a Nobody to a Somebody

Have you ever felt like what you think or say doesn’t really matter? I have. I see the millions of posts, books, podcasts, tweets, blogs and comments and think, “I am just one more voice in a world of billions of voices.”

It’s easy to feel like a nobody lost in a world of somebodies.

Then God’s life-giving word lifts me out of my pity party: “I’ll call nobodies and make them somebodies. I’ll call the unloved and make them beloved.” The only opinion that matters about who I am is God’s. Today, rest in the truth that God has made you a somebody out of a nobody! – Jimmy

Jimmy Pruitt is a believer and follower of Jesus Christ. As an idealist, his words are filtered through his spirituality with the expectation that he will encourage and inspire people to “Live Up in a Down World.” He is committed to being an authentic person in all he does. Because everyone has been through something, or is currently struggling, Jimmy believes the proper response to life is humility; it is the signature of Jesus bringing forth both pain and glory. They have three adult children and seven grandchildren that bless their lives beyond what they could ever dream.
