If You Become Weary
DAILY VERSE
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
– Galatians 6:9
DEVOTION
Weary: exhausted in strength, endurance, vigor, or freshness.
Years of continuous praying. Years where things seem to be coming together, yet days and months pass without resolve. Obstacles and delays beyond your control or understanding. Wondering if your discernment is simply a gift you don’t possess. And fears that your heart may become hardened.
Yet you simply refuse to give up.
When God puts something on your heart and there is a prolonged period required before you’re able to reap the harvest of your prayers and determination — you will at some point become weary.
Don’t give up, press forward in prayerful expectancy!

Bradley Hilton has always been a believer; it was in 2000 that he reaffirmed his faith and went all-in for Jesus. He felt a nudge from God to start a men’s group in his church. Influenced by this group he began a regeneration process that changed his life for a more active service for God. He began a newsletter to encourage others. Its growth resulted in a blog, The Daily Dose – Daily inspiration from God’s Word. Bradley and his wife, Michelle, share life together in Texas with their four children and two grandsons.
