Give Me Just A Glimpse ~

Lord, give me just a glimpse,
of how heaven’s going to be
let me peek into the room
You have reserved for me.

Let me see the streets,
paved with perfect peace
let me gaze upon the path
where grief will finally cease.

Lord, give me just a glimpse,
into the land of no more fear
let me glance into the Light
that’ll dry each and every tear.

Let me see the pathway,
where You will walk with me
let me have a quick look
where sorrow I’ll not see.

Lord, give me just a glimpse,
part the clouds so I can see
my family and my friends
who are waiting there for me.

Let me see Your mansion,
the glory of Your throne . . .
Lord, give me just a glimpse
into my eternal home!
