Before Bed Prayer Based Off Psalm 62
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude and humility.
Just as Psalm 62 reminds me, my soul finds rest in you alone. You are my rock, my salvation, and my refuge. In this moment of prayer, I want to focus on the beautiful gift of forgiveness that you offer to me and to all your children.
Lord, your forgiveness is a river of love that washes away my mistakes and wrongdoings.
It’s a light that guides me out of the darkness of guilt and shame. Your Word reminds me that if I confess my sins, you are faithful and just to forgive me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Your mercy knows no bounds, and your grace is beyond measure.
I stand here, Lord, acknowledging my imperfections and the times I have fallen short.
I ask for your forgiveness for the moments when I’ve let anger, jealousy, and selfishness take over my heart. Please cleanse me from within, renew my spirit, and help me to walk in the path of righteousness.
Just as you forgive me, help me to extend the same forgiveness to others.
Give me the strength to let go of grudges and resentments, and to love my neighbors as you have loved me. Show me how to mend broken relationships and to offer a hand of reconciliation to those who need it.
Father, your forgiveness reminds me of your endless love.
Your sacrifice on the cross is a testament to that love—a love that knows no boundaries and surpasses all understanding. May I always keep this love in my heart and share it with those around me.
As I go through my days, may I remember that your forgiveness is not a one-time gift, but a continuous flow of grace.
Help me to turn to you in times of need, knowing that your arms are always open to receive me with love and understanding.
In Jesus’ name, I pray.
Amen.
