Don’t ever question God’s love for you
Your past sins cannot affect His love. This verse follows Adam and Eve’s sin and God’s description of the resultant consequences. They had literally admitted to committing the first human sin ever and what is God’s action toward them? He provides covering that would not have been necessary had they not sinned. Yes, you and I have sinned. And yet, God loves us. Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:45 that God still cares for even His enemies, in that God causes the sun to rise and the rain to fall on “the evil and the good” and “the just and the unjust”. You have never done anything so bad that God stops loving you. You can reject His love…but you cannot stop it. So come to Him, seek His forgiveness, repent of anything that pulls you from Him, and trust in His eternal love for you.
