My Prayer For Christmas
I have a strong sense, even more than usual, that people are really going to come to faith in Christ during this thing.
Over the past few days, I’ve been praying from Psalm 115:
“Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory,
for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness!
Why should the nations say,
‘Where is their God?’
Our God is in the heavens;
he does all that he pleases.”
~Psalm 115:1-3
And what pleases him is to save people. Do it, Lord!
These are the four requests I’ve been praying:
1. For the unbelievers who have received an invitation to accept them and come.
2. For the Spirit of God to be abundantly present in the room from the very beginning.
3. For humility. We can’t exalt Jesus and ourselves at the same time. If we’re thinking about the glory of the one, we won’t be exalting the other.
4. For a harvest of souls.
Pray with me…
