Our dearest Father, we love you. We love that you sent your Son to save us and your Spirit to sanctify us. We openly acknowledge that we love you and all the things that you do for us because your first loved us. You found us, we did not find you.

This weekend, Lord Jesus, we pray that you would use our own worship services, as well as other worship services around the world, as venues for Jesus to seek and save the lost and to renew those who have faltered.

And Lord, we especially pray right now for our pastors, that you would use them as ministers of reconciliation for that weary throng of lost and lukewarm souls who will come to our churches this weekend hoping to find that rest you promised for their souls.

We make this prayer in your name Jesus. Amen!
