In Our Mess

God still loves us in our mess. It may be a mess everyone sees or a mess no one sees. But my mess is obvious to me. This mess is consuming, distracting and discouraging. A holy God may be the last person I want to approach with this, but a loving God is the first person I need to run to with this.

Jesus came to us in our mess, Mark 5:1, Luke 18:35, John 8:2, John 5:1-5.

A young baby can make some big messes, but mommy loves that baby all the same. That baby gets older and makes different messes. Mom and Dad see their baby is maturing, but not complete or perfect. They create a safe environment for that child to learn, practice and take healthy risks. Mathew 25:14, Revelation 3:15

What is your mindset in the midst of your mess?

– How much can I get away with without getting caught?

– My Father loves me and is leading me this way, so I will trust and obey.

The Father knows our heart and plainly sees our motive. He also loves and cares deeply.

Sanctification is a lifelong process.

 Blessings,
