Tell us, when will these things happen

In Matthew 24, As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

And Jesus answered and said to them, “See to it that no one misleads you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.”

“Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.

This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come. “Famines, drought, and pestilences abound. Lawlessness increasing and Christian persecution is rising. Satan has continued to drive the pendulum well beyond its point of rest. The whole earth trembles at His rebuke, yet men imagine that they should be able stand before the Holy and Righteous God, continuing in sin, Who is not only able to cast the wicked into hell, but He can do it easily.

Do not be deceived, having forgotten Christ’s purification of your former sins. Those whose lives do not demonstrate evidence to verify their claim of salvation, need to be aware. People are damned because they choose it to be so, and God simply confirms them in their choice.

In Matthew 11:20-24, Jesus rebuked the cities of Chorazin and Bethsaida, where most of His works had been done, because they did not repent.

How you live is a deliberate reflection of what you believe. Are you becoming more like Christ? Think of the gate to the Kingdom of Heaven like turn-style at an airport, you must go through it alone and you’re not taking anything through it with you, that includes your sin.

Jesus does not call us to simply clean up the former lives, allowing us to keep our coveted sins; He demands complete regeneration!

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.”

Personal accountability often induces a rather pathetic response from those who are spiritually impoverished, trapped in their sin. Many who had heard the truth yet have failed to properly respond to it’s life saving message. How you choose to respond will determine your eternal destination.
