A Joyful Heart

Our son and daughter-in-law were playing a game with our 2 year old grandson where they knock on the table (simulating a knock at the door) and say, “who could that be?” and our grandson excitedly said, “Grandmommy and Grandad!”

As grandparents this brought smiles to our faces and great joy to our hearts.

This joy is just a taste of the joy you receive when Jesus knocks on the door of your heart and you open your heart and believe in Him.

Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” Revelation 3:20

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

“You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
Psalms 16:11

“Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”” Luke 15:10

The Salvation Prayer: Confessing to God that I am a sinner and believing that the Lord Jesus Christ died for my sins on the cross and was raised for my justification, I do now receive and confess Him as my personal Savior.

May that be you I pray.

Yes, a joyful heart has a ripple effect. It creates joyful hearts in others. A joyful heart is a reflection of God’s goodness and a powerful force for healing and spiritual growth. Joy is spiritual, not dependent on material circumstances, Thank you for the article.
