A New Generation

“One generation shall praise Your works to another And shall declare Your mighty acts.” Psalms 145:4

How are we to train up our children in the way they should go if we ourselves are not growing close to the Lord by spending time with Him, praying to Him, learning His Word in the Bible and growing in the image of Christ Jesus? If you haven’t yet, you can start now that you and your children may see the Lord lovingly change you for the better.

“Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

““Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates,” Deuteronomy 11:18-20

“Your testimonies I have taken as a heritage forever, For they are the rejoicing of my heart.” Psalms 119:111

May our children and grandchildren see the glory of the Lord in their lives, that they will be strengthened and filled with joy, that a new generation will rise of those who love the Lord and love their neighbors and spread the Good News of Christ Jesus to the world.
