A Scripture and a Prayer: “Casting Cares”
“Cast all your care upon God, for He cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7)
Prayer:
Lord, how easy is it for me to rely upon myself and my understanding of a situation and try to find a solution and work it out. But unfortunately, I find myself coming up short of the desired results, especially when I’ve been hurt, or experienced disappointments, which have my anxiety level skyrocketing. Thank you, therefore, for providing me a way to deal with these issues, and that is by giving them all over to You, knowing how much You care for me. What a blessing it is having You carry these hurts, anxieties, and disappointments away, and give me instead the strength and grace to live this day for You. AMEN
