A Scripture and a Prayer: “Joy Comes from Obedience”
“Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him.” (Psalm 128:1)
Prayer:
Lord, I realize that to fear You is not to tremble in fear, but it is to see You in all Your holiness and righteousness, and to then bow down in reverence before You. And such reverence calls for walking in the way You have set forth in Your word. And when I do, then Your promise is that I will prosper in You, and that You will prolong my days. Therefore, Lord, may Your goodness and love follow me as I follow You all the days of my life, and may I dwell in Your house forever. AMEN
