My granddaughter Kaia is five months old. I got to meet her for the first time on Sunday, July 20. My wife and I traveled 430 miles from Northwest Florida to Central Florida to meet her, my daughter Olivia, and her husband Andrew.
My wife Cheryl came up with an idea. Cheryl put together a needlepoint picture that contained three puppy dogs. She suggested to me to make a message, put it behind the needlepoint, and make the picture and the message into a time capsule. Kaia could look at it when she would be old enough to read and remember the message. I was sure she would be blessed. The needlepoint might not be a strong memory, but the message behind the needlepoint would always be. She may always remember this gift of love.
What can you do creatively that your grandson and your granddaughter will never forget? Be creative, and send them a blessing creatively.
My blessing picture is attached. Kaia is 5 months old.
I used Canva.com to make the blessing picture. Microsoft Publisher is another good app to use.at home.
