Happy New Year

As grandparents, I believe it’s our position to get on our knees . . .

Happy New Year

As I look ahead into 2025, it looks like our national and global photodune-7870504-happy-new-year-xssituation will not be getting better.  A good friend focused my attention on Isaiah 60:1-2 as a word from the Lord for the New Year:  Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.  See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.

I can feel the invading darkness of evil that is like a heavy moral and spiritual fog.  It’s infiltrating our nation at every level. At the very same time that our nation is enveloped in thick darkness, God commands us to arise, let our Light shine, and the distinctive glory of our Lord will be evident to all.

As grandparents, I believe it’s our position to get on our knees, humble ourselves, seek God’s face, repent of our sin, and intercede for our nation. Then having done all, we stand firm in our faith that God has heard and will answer our prayer according to His will.

    • Pray for the physical, emotional and spiritual protection for our dear grandchildren during these times of moral and spiritual decay.
    • Pray their parents will have God’s wisdom to teach and guide them according to God’s Word.
    • Pray, we as grandparents will shine brightly in the darkness of out troubled world we live in today.

She and her husband enjoy traveling, Southern Gospel music but most of all, enjoy spending time with their family.
