“Truth Brings Acceptance”
Can we believe God’s Word enough to change our lives based upon it? You bet, for it has proven itself to be true through thousands of years of skeptics and challenges to its veracity.
To Timothy, Paul says this very thing that God’s word can be trusted for all that he needed.
He said, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
Why we may not always understand, by faith we can believe. Therefore, when we don’t understand what God is doing and telling us to do through His word, let our prayer be, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24)
God’s word, therefore, being true, let us move forward in Jesus, fully accepting the truth about Him as given in the Bible. It says of Jesus that while He was rejected by the world, He can be accepted by those seeking the truth.
Look at what God’s word says.
“He is despised and rejected by men, a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.” (Isaiah 53:3)
And Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)
Therefore, God’s word is true, and its truth brings acceptance of God’s way, and not our own.
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
