I love the flow of this book. Each chapter is a mix of practical instruction, encouragement and applicable anecdotes. The addition of photos of the “characters” helped to plant the lessons in my heart.

I should insert here that I serve as a regular contributor to the weekly Sunshine Newsletter. It is distributed in Nursing Homes across Florida and Western New York.

I may never start a ministry of this sort but I am able to apply many of the same lessons to my work at McHenry County Jail.

Peter Caligiuri has been writing poetry since he was a teenager. Some of his short poems and devotionals have appeared in various periodicals such Secret Place, Breakthrough Intercessor and The Upper Room. He also is a committed contributor to Christian Grandfather Magazine. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education/English from Western Connecticut State College as well as having attended Elim Bible College. He and his wife Nancy, recently retired and moved to Florida where he has self-published several titles related to nursing home ministry, as well as some collections of devotional readings.
