While You Were Waiting…

 DAILY VERSE

I waited patiently for the Lord;he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit,out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.

DEVOTION

Your waiting will turn into a testimony, and all who witness your victory will come to trust in the Lord more. Your patient waiting shows God that you trust Him with your whole life, and He rewards faith like that in big ways.

Nobody likes to wait. Delays and obstacles can either produce anxiety or peace depending on the level if trust you’re willing to put in.

As God answers your prayers and others see the results of the trust you’ve displayed while you were waiting, God will be glorified!

Bradley Hilton has always been a believer; it was in 2000 that he reaffirmed his faith and went all-in for Jesus. He felt a nudge from God to start a men’s group in his church. Influenced by this group he began a regeneration process that changed his life for a more active service for God. He began a newsletter to encourage others. Its growth resulted in a blog, The Daily Dose – Daily inspiration from God’s Word. Bradley and his wife, Michelle, share life together in Texas with their four children and two grandsons.
