Where do we find the power to remain steadfast in fighting the enemy of our faith?

In fighting the enemy of our faith, where do we find the power to be steadfast and trust God?

Joshua 1:9, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

Why?

2 Timothy 1:7, “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

What’s more?

Romans 8:35-37, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: ‘For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.’ Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”

Speaking of Jesus Paul said:

2 Corinthians 12:9, “He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’”

Therefore:

1 John 4:4, “He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”

As such:

Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

How strong is my faith in Christ right now?

What André Gourd started out as a daily message to his sons in 2019, has grown into daily messages to all who wish to receive them. While he didn’t have a clue he was to share these messages with the world, the Lord put on his heart in 2020 to do so. The purpose of his daily messages is to remind those of us who know Christ as Savior and Lord, that He is present in this world and in our lives. André desires to keep each one “Short and To The Point,” so you will take time to read them. They are NOT related to opinion. They simply “Point to Scripture.” He leaves us with a one sentence “Challenge thought” to help us live out our commitment to focus on Christ and live by His word. If you desire to read more of his scripture challenges you will find him atChrist At The Helm.
