Have Faith and Trust God

TODAY’S VERSE
For they did not believe God or trust him to care for them.
Psalms 78:22 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
There is a fine line between trust and faith. The Children of Israel were in the wilderness, a rugged and barren land. It was a cruel and challenging existence. Even though God had promised to take care of them, they did not believe it. It was hard for them to rely on God to provide for them. It is hard to trust with your mind when your feet are in a precarious place. This is when we need faith. We trust God as we put our faith in Him. Faith believes that God “is” and is able to care for us. That is where the Israelites failed. Like us, instead of faith, they chose murmuring and complaining. They looked around and saw nothing but rocks and hot and barren land. They did not believe God would take care of them. Today, might we consider the reality of God being in our situation. Might we trust Him for a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night. Might we taste the Manna and drink the water from the rock. Today, let us rejoice, for He is Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord, our provider.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, forgive me for my complaining. Forgive me when I forget that You love me and are my provider. I lay my needs at Your feet and give You all my trust and faith.
AMEN

Yes, And faith is more spiritual and stronger than Belief. You may believe that “it might rain today”. But with faith, you understand that “you are one with God just as a drop of water in the ocean is one with the ocean.” Faith heals.
