Happy New Year!

TODAY’S VERSE
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
I love do-overs! A do-over is a blessing when things have been rough, and I need a new start. But even when things have been fantastic and the season ends, it is great to have the chance to do it all over again. I don’t know your situation. I don’t know what this last year has been for you, but I know this is a new beginning. Saint Paul was wise when he wrote, “I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead.” We can do the same. We can go into 2026 trusting in the Lord with all our hearts. We don’t have to depend on our own understanding. Instead, if we seek His will, He will guide us and direct us in this new year. Today, let us come to this 2026 with faith and expectancy for all God has for us. He will show us the way.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Father, thank You that you care about my future. I stand here at the beginning of 2026 and commit myself to you. I pray you will guide me and show me the path to take in this new year. In Jesus’ name.
AMEN

Happy New Year, and May God Bless You!

Yes, Happy New Year implies that a New Year is an opportunity for spiritual renewal, growth in grace, and a “sacred nearness” to divine perfection, rather than just a turn of the calendar. It comes with need to replace old, worldly views with a fresh, spiritual understanding of life.
